Tier 1

Examine the notebook and pick up the unfinished remote.

Find a transmitter module from an electrical box at  (860,290).

Find a ceramic resonator just inside the house at (914, 391).  When you click on it though, a mob, The jilted bride, will appear.  She will run upstairs to the attic with the box.  Follow her up and kill it to get it back.

Tier 2

Go back to the Golem + Car and use the remote to command the golem.  It will start walking around while you have to protect it while studying its behavior.  Eventually, it will go out of control and you will be tasked with destroying it.  Do so and finish the mission.
