The Secret World:  The Kingsmouth Code – Walkthrough

To start this quest, head over to the church in Kingsmouth Town.

Take a good look at the manhole outside. These are a key part of the quest chain. You must follow the direction it points for the first location.

Start out going straight ahead

Turn left at the end of the road

Followed almost immediately by a right turn onto a dock

When you get to this point, head around to the back side of the building and click on the triangle on the floor behind the boxes.  You will see the following plaque upon closer inspection.

It reads

In the Seat of Power, The Navigator Immortalized
Illuminating the Path
To the Sleeping Priest and Fletcher

In Memory of Frans Hals, who perished in light (1580 – 1666)

The Seat of Power in Kingsmouth is the Town Hall.

Inside of Kingsmouth Town Hall are various paintings. The one we are interested in is a painting in the corner by Frans Hals.


The note at the bottom reads,

Time is the province of Kings and Gods. The hands of time point to truths written by kings in the words of God. The path is open to the enlightened

Notice that the spyglass/mini cannon/telescope (I have no idea what it actually is) is pointing to the upper left, and the quote mentions that the hands of time point to the truth, which is written in the words of God, aka, The Bible.


Looking at the clock, we see that the time is 10:10 so…. Go open a bible, or look it up online(in real life, there is no bible in-game, at least not that we’ve found). You are looking for “Kings 10:10” which reads:

“And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents (120) of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.”

The code for a keypad that you are about to find is 120, the amount of gold given to the king. Now you just need to find where to input this code. Going back to referencing your map of Kingsmouth, take note of Solomon Priest House. Head there and investigate.

Enter the code (120) into the keypad.

Head inside the basement and find your way to the computer. Turn it on and access it.

Type Hint to recieve your only in-game hint for this quest.
The hint you receive is “As the famous Solomon Priest once said ‘Light conquers all.'” Those of you with a good memory that can speak the language will be very excited because this should sound familiar. Remember the Man Hole Cover at the very start of the quest? Didn’t it say something? Here it is again so you don’t have to scroll up.

The translation of Light Conquers All is “Lux Omnia Vincit” which is the password. Go ahead and input this into the computer to be granted access.

The last step is very simple. A Bookcase slides open, revealing three artifacts. Collect them and that’s it. You’re done. Congradulations.
