Tier 1: Examine The Spore Pod More Closely
Easy first step, simply click on the Spore Pod to examine it.
Tier 2: Use Fungicide & Kill The Colonist
The next step sends you to the Water Purification plant to gather some Fungicide. You can find it in the shed marked on your map.
With Fungicide in hand, head back to the strange Spore Pod and use the Fungicide on it.
When you do, The Colonist should spawn and start fighting you. Kill it to end the mission.
