Solution to Men in Black Vans Investigation in The Secret World

NOTE: THIS QUEST IS CURRENTLY BUGGED ON THE LAST STEP (Tier 4) FUNCOM IS AWARE AND WILL HOPEFULLY FIX IT IN AN UPCOMING PATCH.

EDIT:   This quest has been fixed in the July 3rd patch. 

You begin the quest in the skate park. Our first stop is the Black van located on your map. We are going to go to the back of the van and access the laptop that we see. The only password hint we are given is “My wife“.

Take a quick look around, survey the land. You should be able to see the bodies of two people wearing black off to the side where the car is facing.

Upon inspecting the two bodies, you discover that their names are Kitsune Hayabusa and Emily Chan. You may be tempted to input Emily’s name as the password, but that is incorrect. These two are not married, they are merely partners.


I noticed that Orichigroup.net is on both nametags, so I took the search to their website. In the about us Section is a Statement by Kitsune Hayabusa where he mentions his wife, Sally.

Input Sally as the password and you will be given an assembly sequence, along with directions to disassemble in reverse order.


You need to take the Beckon Tracker from the car, it’s right next to the laptop. When you grab it, it will show up in your inventory. Click on it to activate it and you will start getting a radar sweep around your character.


The closer to your target location you get, the closer together the sweeps will become until you reach your destination.


When you get to the box, make sure you are alone, or you risk glitching this quest out. The final portion is bugged at the moment. If someone inputs the wrong sequence. The quest will be stuck and you will be unable to proceed. Someone came and interrupted our completion so we were unable to finish this particular quest at this point in time. But since the input sequence was :

1. Engage PK Pulse Unit
2. Affix Manifest Agitator to PK Pulse Unit
3. Affix Etheric Transponder Antenna to Manifest Agitator
4. Assume minimum save distance before power up.

The Sequence you need to use is:  EKT Transmitter Antenna -> Manifest Agitator -> PK Pulse Unit.
