Tier 1
Start out the mission by picking up the metal detecter that is found nearby as well as the shovel. They will go into your inventory. Drag both items onto your shortcut bar or somewhere easy to access. Turn on the metal detector and begin looking around for when it beeps the fastest. This will be a location to dig at. For convenience, I have the coordinates of each find listed here:

Tier 2
When you get to Tier 2, it’s just more of the same. You go further along the beach and repeat the process.
You will dig at: (445, 925) (487, 959) (447, 969) (416, 950) (409, 912)
Tier 3
Once you arrive, use the Gaiaa Roots to summon an Earth Warden. Now you get to defend it for a while until the mission completes.
