The Quest Breaking News is started slightly north of Franklin Mansion, along the main road.

Tier 1: Examine the Orochi Tablet

Simple enough beginning, simple click on the Tablet on the floor near the mission start to examine it and you will see the following message displayed.

Tier 1: Get the Cameraman’s Datacard

Time to go collect some datacards.  Our first stop will be the Cameraman.  In the center of the circle marked on your map, you will find the remains of the cameraman.  Looks like some Wendigo got to him before you.  That can only mean one thing.  You must slay some Wendigo until you find the one that ate the datacard and rip it from it’s dead carcass.  Luckily, it seems to be a 100% drop rate within the circle so you only need to kill one.

Tier 1: Get the Soundman’s Datacard

Simple enough, he is on the northern portion of the circle marked on your map.  Nothing special with this one.  Just click the body to recover the datacard.

Tier 1: Get the Reporter’s Datacard

It seems the reporter has become infected/corrupted.  Put an end to his torment by killing him and taking the datacard off the corpse.

Once you have all three data cards, you will be asked to submit them to your Secret Society.  To do this, simple right click on any of the Data Cards in your inventory and the mission will complete.

Right-clicking on any of the three data cards does NOT complete the quest. Absolutely *nothing* happens when you click, right-click, Ctrl+click or barf on any of the cards.

This worked for us, I’ll assume you jsut got dealt a bad hand and have it bugged out. Try contacting a GM. They take an hour or two to respond, but always solve any quest issues we have had in game

It worked for me when I clicked the data card that was complete.

clicking on the two of the cards didn’t work, but worked on the 3rd one
